Licence and Registration Information
Temporary Licence
All students are issued with a temporary licence in their introductory session with Nintai Martial Arts. This licence is valid for 28 days, giving you time to experience training before deciding to register as a student with Nintai Martial Arts.
Registration
Registration is a one time only fee of £10.00* when you join Nintai Martial Arts. Included in the fee is registration with the BMABA (The British Martial Arts and Boxing Association), and your licence book.
Full Licence
A BMABA licence gives you insurance in case of an accident when training, grading or entering competitions. Without a valid licence you will not be insured or able to participate in training or gradings. It is the responsibility of the student to maintain a valid licence.
All students must present a valid BMABA licence before gradings. If you do not hold or are unable to present a valid BMABA licence then you will not be allowed to grade. Licences are valid for one year and must be renewed each year, at a cost of £15.00*.
Replacement Licence Books
If your licence book is lost or damaged, you can purchase a replacement at a cost of £5.00*.

Clothing & Equipment Recommendations
Once students have registered with Nintai Martial Arts and have acquired their full licence, they are expected to wear a karate suit (gi) to all classes, with the exception of Kitsune students.
We can offer suggestions about different brands of gi, but as long as it is white, which one you choose is entirely up to you.
